Woo! Finally got a non-crapped up AbSac poster from le zeebee! :D On Tuesday, after an impromptu dinner at O-J's (he cooked...), we moseyed down to Watermead for eine kleine chat about the group yearbook/DVD. More fun though was seeing the new pictures on Bebo of Polly "The Saw" Silk and Jess "Crazy hair" Rudnay at the last 'performance' in Edinburgh. Speaking of pictures, O-J was mucho pleased with the printing my dad did of his photos to sell at the play - shame they didn't sell any last night...

That evening I watched 'Belleville Rendez-Vous' at the recommendation of a certain 'the juice'. It was really random, and I found it quite depressing (harrowing, even, as Poll would say), but maybe I was just tired, as O-J told me it was the funniest thing ever (ever). On a lighter note, the next day I watched Spider-Man 2 (also borrowed from O-J), which was infinitely better, although Kirsten looks way better in the 1st one. 2 coincidences in it, freakin me out: firstly, Mrs Huber of Desperate Housewives fame is in it; and secondly, Train perform on the end credits, whose CD I'm waiting to borrow from O-J. OK I think that's enough mentions of O-J (damn it!) for one paragraph.

Friday had the best weather for a long time - at lunch we sat on School Field, a really surreal atmosphere in the middle of Oxford! - and the evening was good fun, mostly, except for a bit of miscommunication involving dinner. Tom, Poll and I ate at the Noodlebar: delumptious as always. Then we met the others from Ask and went to the Turf Tavern, which was really cool (not least cos Freddie bought the first round as a birthday treat - happy birthday again!). Finally, I walked back towards school to be picked up, and bumped into Hal, James and the twins, coming back up after seeing the play. They managed to accuse me of being drunk while simultaneously giggling uncontrollably and generally just being insane. So I hastily said goodbye to them, had a brief chat with O-J (he's back!) back at school, and went home. Via Witney. Interesting..

Tonight should be fun - will report back with more detail tomorrow.. if I survive the drunk students...

Covered in my own blood

Ah, The O.C.. Beginning to hate it. Stay out of my life, damn you!

In other news, my dad's been insulating and flooring the loft again, so there's lovely bits of fibreglass floating round the house, which now seem to have lodged in my hand and face. Lovely.

Congrats to Guy on the driving test! See, your sneakiness even extends to not telling people you were even having lessons! Tsk

Arrivederci

Hey, maybe if we combine Games on Wednesday with Orange Wednesday: Orange Games! See, it's a match made in heaven.

Well, this week saw the conception (ho ho) of the Silk-Winkley, unfortunately at the cost of one of my sunglasses lenses (but having Freddie molest me made it all worth it, believe me). (and yes, freddie, it WAS that way round. Why else did you commit peanut-suicide? And no, that's not a euphemism.)

Following that hilarity was a totally not-awkward wait in the park for our reservation at the Noodlebar to arrive. I guess that's just the consequences you get. ooh, levels.

Sounds like not too much of a tragedy that I didn't go the ball, what with the drunkenness of crap people, ambulances due to drunkenness of said crap people, being kicked out of the hotel an hour early due to said ambulances due to said drunkenness of said crap people, etc. Still, I'm sure Melody enjoyed Sam's singing... All I can say is that I hope it wasn't Tenacious D. Or Tenacious Deed as Fred thought it was. On that note, it was a shame that I didn't get to meet the enigmatic Lucinda - maybe next time.

At the risk of being able to publish this as a book, I'm gonna stop. In a minute. First, the yearbook (damn jogging of linked memories). Still trying to think up ideas for it. Tom, I know what you're gonna say, but Cat's totally right on this one - you seriously won't get the reaction you're hoping for. whatever that may be..

Music: Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U

Happy birthday to Guy! (23.5 hours on...)

Had a v. cool time yesterday evening, whining wining, dining, reclining. Heard about Tom's idea for national domination involving East Anglia/Kent, pubs, giant flamingos and flamethrowers. Seriously, sounds like a plan. Hail Tom! (...Not to boost your [tiny, TINY] ego...)

I object to the deification tho. Not. gonna. happen. Just remember: counter-rebellion.

Now, get on and grow that beard.

Music: Eva Cassidy - Over The Rainbow

Well Sammy (my 2-yr-younger sister) just had a party - funny how she's allowed to when my WHOLE family was here, yet I wasn't allowed when there was literally no-one but me in the house last week. Ah well. But will someone please explain why girls have to go in the bathroom 3 at a time? Especially when it's next to my room and I'm trying to sleep...

It's weird tho. Even tho she just had 8 girls round, it's beginning to remind me of us not so long ago. Screaming, music, late-night walks round Fringford, hair-dyeing... And she's even met some MCS punks .. Greg Iddon ahoy!! And anyone know who Philip Derry is? Tho I can't diss them - they were apparently complimentary about the house singing!

And, just for you Jess: she seems to be becoming a skater - thought you'd approve, having been "just like them" when you were that age! :)

I actually did some revision today :o. Tho admittedly it was just Latin.
Anyway, enjoy your last week everyone.
